  • may compel the Entrant to indemnify the promoter or a third party; and/or

  • serves as an acknowledgement, by the Entrant, of a fact.

  • The Entrant acknowledges that by submitting his or her entry to the Competition he/she has been given an appropriate opportunity to first read these terms and conditions before entering, and he/she understands and agrees to them.

  • All Entrants to this Competition participate entirely at their own risk. By reading and accepting these terms and conditions, the entrant gives consent to these risks and hereby indemnifies and holds harmless the promoters and Pick n Pay and all entities in the Pick n Pay group; their directors, employees and agents of any and all liability pertaining to any damage, cost, injuries and losses of whatever nature sustained as a result of their participation in the Competition and related events and activities, save where such damage, cost, injuries and losses are sustained as a result of the gross negligence or willful misconduct of any indemnified party.

  RULES OF COMPETITION

  • This Competition opens on 06th July 2026 and closes on 09th August 2026.

  • The Prize/s:

    • Daily Prizes (Golden Basket)

      • Total value of the groceries in their shopping trolleys (Maximum value of P5000.00)

      • Prizes are not transferable and may not be exchanged for other prizes.

    • Golden Trolley Dashes

      • The value of the trolley dash will be up to P5000.00

      • Prizes are not transferable and may not be exchanged for other prizes.

  • To enter the Competition, the Entrant must:

    • Daily Prizes Entry

      • Spend P150 (one hundred and fifty Pula) or more (will be automatically entered into the competition once that amount or more is spent)

      • Winners are selected randomly at the till points through the surprise token engine rewards system

    • Trolley Dash Entry

      • Spend P150 (one hundred and fifty Pula) or more (will be automatically entered into the competition once that amount or more is spent)

      • Winners are selected randomly at the till points through the surprise token engine rewards system

    • Participants may enter the competition as many times as they wish.

    • In order to qualify as an Entrant for this Competition, the Entrant must:-

      • live in Botswana;

      • provide correct and full personal details, as required and failing to do so will forfeit the prize;

      • be 18 years old or older;

      • be an individual and cannot be a juristic entity

  • The promoters, Pick n Pay Retailers, any entity in the Pick n Pay group or Company, their directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants, the suppliers of goods or services in connection with this Competition, or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the above named parties and their respective spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members are not permitted to participate in this Competition.

  • Pick n Pay Credit account holders are excluded from eligibility to win any prize in this Competition.

SELECTION OF WINNER

• Winners are selected randomly at the till point through the surprise token engine rewards system for both daily prizes (Golden Basket) and the weekly (Trolley Dash).

• For the daily prizes the winner will redeem their prize immediately while for trolley dash winner can redeem the prize on a Friday (a week following the win).

GENERAL

• Should you win a prize in the Competition, you undertake to (i) provide such personal information as may be required in order to facilitate handing over the prize (including providing proof of address and identity number) and (ii) sign receipt of the prize upon its delivery.

• The names of the prize winners will be published on the Pick n Pay websites subject to the winners’ consent.

• Winners may be requested to take part in the promoter’s publicity campaigns or to allow their names and likenesses to be used by the promoter for promotional purposes. Winners are, however, entitled to decline such requests.

• By providing us with your details, you give Pick n Pay and its associated vendor’s permission to make future contact with you notifying you of the latest offers and promotions available from the Pick n Pay group.

• Any queries in this regard, and a copy of these rules can be found by calling the Regional Office, 395-2175 (Kay Moagae), during office hours throughout the period of the Competition.
